Wall Oven Repair
Single, double and combination wall ovens built into your cabinets. Built-in units have their own cooling fan and are wired in a junction box behind the oven, so some repairs mean sliding the oven out of the cabinet. We do that carefully and put it back square.

What is your wall oven doing?
The most common problems we see, and what usually causes them.
One oven will not heat
On double ovens each cavity has its own bake and broil elements, sensor and relay, so one can fail while the other works.
Touch panel does not respond
A failed touch panel or membrane, a loose ribbon cable, or a control board that has lost power.
Cooling fan runs nonstop or is loud
A worn fan motor, or a sensor or control that keeps calling for cooling after the oven is off.
Door locked or will not lock
A failed door lock motor or switch, often found after a self-clean cycle.
Microwave section not working
On combination units, the upper microwave has its own magnetron, door switches and fuses, tested separately from the oven.
Error code or breaker trips
Usually a shorted element, a failed sensor or a wiring fault at the terminal block behind the unit.

Wall Oven questions
Does the oven have to come out of the wall?
Not always. Elements, sensors and door parts can often be reached from the front. Wiring, the cooling fan and some control parts sit behind or above the oven, and for those the unit slides out onto a protected surface.
Why does the fan keep running after I turn the oven off?
That is normal for a while: the cooling fan protects the electronics and the cabinet until the oven cools down. If it runs for hours or never stops, a sensor or the control is likely at fault.
Do you repair oven-microwave combination units?
Yes. We test the oven and the microwave sections separately, because they have their own parts, and tell you which one has failed.
